Once a slot becomes available, you will be contacted by our administration team to confirm if you’re still interested and desire to proceed with the onboarding/intake process.
The current fee for a standard session is $150. Fees are subject to change at any time.
We accept Carefirst BCBS and Cigna at this time.
For any other insurance providers, we are considered as an out of network provider and this means that you may be eligible to receive reimbursement through your insurance coverage. You will need to check with your insurance company directly to determine your out of network benefits. If you would like to use your health insurance benefits, you will be responsible to pay the full fee at the time of service ($150 per session) and we will provide you with a detailed invoice that you can then submit to your insurance company directly for reimbursement.
All sessions are currently conducted virtually via secure telehealth software. No in-person services are offered at this time.
The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 50 minutes.
During your first session, your therapist will be utilizing that time to gain a deeper awareness of your background, your present concerns and goals for therapy.
We recommend meeting with your therapist on a weekly basis when beginning therapy. Most of our clients start with weekly sessions and as they start seeing progress they may decrease as needed (ie. biweekly instead of weekly sessions).
We offer complimentary 15 minute consultation calls upon request. These consultation calls allow you to connect with your potential therapist and get all of your questions answered prior to making a decision to become an official HTS client.
